FAQ

What are Trait Shards in Defeat Anime RNG?
The currency for shaping a unit you already have: the Traits stand rolls a selected character's trait with them. Game Rant describes them as letting you shape units instead of hoping the next roll is perfect.
What are mutations in Defeat Anime RNG?
The developer's own description says the game asks you to collect rare animes and mutations, and one code rewards a unit called the Genius Mutated Koben. No publisher page we could read lists the mutations or says how they are triggered.
What is the Death Castle in Defeat Anime RNG?
The area that the Beebom and Destructoid code pages both name as the prerequisite before the Codes field appears. It is the only area any source we could read names, so no zone list is published here.

The vocabulary the game does not define

Three words in the table above come with a hard limit attached, and it is worth knowing which:

  • Star Shards and the three shard-and-chest items appear in code rewards, and no publisher page we could read says what they are spent on.
  • Mutations are named in the developer’s own description and nowhere else. The site cannot tell you which ones exist or how they are triggered.
  • Zone costs are not published. One area, Death Castle, is named, and only because two codes pages mention it on the way to the redemption box.

Why the words matter

Most of the searching around this game is a player trying to name a thing they saw: a purple currency, a chest, a power, a zone. A definition page is the shortest path from that word to an answer, and the currencies guide goes deeper on the shards and potions while the pull rate page covers how rare the units are.
